Holding your aircraft secure at the flying field for engine starts is an important safety item. The new
Tail Anchor from Sullivan Products is well thought out and is made with strong all-steel construction.
Powder-coated for long-lasting protection, the Tail Anchor has a channel base with two 14-inch-tall
upright tubes bolted to it.
A 8-inch-long, 1/2-inch-diameter ground spike is bolted to the center of
the base for easy (step-on) placement. The uprights (spaced 9 1/2 inches apart) are bolted to the
base in such a way that, to release them from the up position, you simply lift up on them and fold
them away from your airplane.
Thick foam padding is also included on the uprights to protect your
