At the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force website, you can climb into the cockpit of a P-40, a Spad XIII, a B-25B, B-24D, B-29 or even a Kellet autogiro! More than 10 aircraft have virtual tours available, and more will be taken and uploaded as time and resources allow. You can even toggle up and down on arrows in the image to get a full, peripheral view! I think it’s a great way to combat writer’s block, but if you’re building a scale model it’s an invaluable documentation resource. While you’re there, check out the other virtual tours at the National Museum website — it’s a fantastic resource. http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/virtualtour/cockpits.asp
