New from Hobby Lobby:

Gee Bee Senior Sportster

84-1/2″ wingspan, 62-1/2″ long, 1207 sq. in. wing area, 15-3/4 pound flying weight. All laser-cut balsa and plywood construction for lightweight and superior strength. While some Gee Bees have a reputation as tough-to-fly models, nothing could be further from the truth with the Senior Sportster. This big airplane handles more like a trainer than a golden age racer. The airplane simply doesn’t have any bad habits.
Takeoffs are a breeze; the wide stance landing gear makes ground handling excellent. The true oleo type suspension softens even a less than perfect arrival, although that is rarely necessary due to the easy flying character of the airplane. Assembly is quick; most of the work has already been done for you. Designed to accept glow engines from 1.08-1.60 (2C), 1.20-1.80 (4C), or 25cc gas engines. The Sportster comes with a special mount for the large AXI OUTRUNNER that we recommend. We fly ours with both 10s and 12s lipo batteries and both provide much more than scale performance. For 4-channels: Ailerons (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder and Throttle.

Price: $429.90
