Powered by four electric motors, this 12-foot-span RC Airbus was built by Hannes Heppe and flown at its first airshow at Flugtag in Grenchen, Switzerland. The 83-pound aircraft uses a 6000mAh 6-cell pack per motor and can fly for 7 minutes. Thanks to Markus Nussbaumer for taking this great video and sharing it on YouTube.

Hello Debra,
I just wanted you to know how much I’ve been enjoying your work. I wish there were more women like you! So do hundreds of thousand of other men…
You are incredible.
Sincerely yours,
John Z.
P.S. I hope you will continue your fine work… Best wishes to you!
V nice – needs a sound card.
Great model – some people have too much $$$ and time on their hands.
Glad I don’t have to transport it .Milt P.
pretty sure we could have done without the slur on the female pilots
Ease up, it’s called a joke, it’s a different culture and, probably, not as pathetically PC as the US. And remember, from a female perspective, he’s just a man.

It is a C-17!?
How about some more specifics on the motor size, props, ESC’s, build time, overall weight, cost…..
I meant weight with and without batteries… Thanks..
Terrific effort… Great results!
Wow, do you know where they got the 8-blade props from? Also, i read elsewhere the H-Stab is also adjustable.
