Giant Avro Vulcan wows the crowd!

Giant Avro Vulcan wows the crowd!

Powered by four (4!) 160 Wren turbines, this massive 20-foot span Avro Vulcan wowed the crowds at the recent RAF Cosford Air Show put on by Britain’s Large Model Association. Piloted by Dave Johnson, this giant jet looks and sounds like its big brother and in the video flies at speeds of up to 120mph. Impressive!

  1. Hello
We have a rc-airshow in Grenchen Switzerland (LSZG). We would like to see an opportunity to have this plane at our show at september 14. Would you please give me the name of the pilot or owner of this wonderful plane?
    Thank you!

    Regards,
    Michel

  2. I saw a full scale one at an airshow at McGuire AFB years ago. Dang thing maneuvered like a fighter over the field!

  3. Wow! What a wonderful piece of work and flight demonstration.

  4. Just beautiful! What a Vulcan… what a model! Thanks so much for filming this for everyone to see.

  5. I have seen this video before and the plane was absolutely gorgeous. But the video that I saw before this post did not have shush a good ending on one of the approaches the bottom of the plane just fell away causing a nose first dive to the ground and burn. Very heart breaking for all to see.

  6. Beautiful to watch, congratulations.

  7. Amazing – brilliant workmanship and safe/realistic flying display , well done chaps!!
