Learning to fly a radio control airplane is one of the most exciting and rewarding challenges you can undertake. It’s a hobby you can enjoy for a lifetime and will open doors to new experiences and friends you might have never known otherwise. This is why success during your first few flights is so important. It lays the groundwork for a lifetime of enjoyment. With the almost-ready-to-fly Alpha Trainer from Hangar 9®, your success is all but assured, thanks to its gentle, beginner-friendly flight characteristics.
The Alpha Trainer ARF comes out of the box 90% prebuilt and you can be out at the flying field in only a few, short evenings. The Alpha kit also includes large wheels to make ground handling easy, whether your flying field has a paved runway or grass.
Once airborne, you’ll be treated to the Alpha’s gentle self-righting flight characteristics that make it easy to master the basics as well as recover from “sticky” situations. When you have some flight time under your belt, you can put your Alpha through some basic aerobatics; rolls and loops are smooth and graceful.
To get the Alpha flying, you’ll need an engine, a 4-channel (minimum) radio system, 4 standard servos, a standard 650mAh receiver battery, a glow driver, fuel and fuel pump.
The world of radio-controlled flight offers all kinds of adventures. If you’re someone who’s looking to begin the quest for adventure with a plane of your own, you’ve got a lot to look forward to. Start with success. Start with the Alpha Trainer from Hangar 9.
