6-Foot Telemaster Electro ARF V2 from Hobby Lobby

This RC Classic Trainer design has been around in one form or another for many years. Countless RC pilots have earned their wings flying the Telemaster and many have soloed with no assistance at all. Based on the original Telemaster 40 design, Hobby Lobby has just released a new “Version 2” of the electric-powered 6-Foot Telemaster Electro ARF.  For under $200 it a great place start your RC adventure!

Specs are:

73-1/4″ wingspan, 53-1/2″ long, 848 sq. in. wing area, 88 oz. flying weight, 15 oz. per sq. ft. wing loading. Version 2 is new and improved, but with the same great flying characteristics. It now comes covered with genuine Oracover and the flaps are pre-cut and slotted with hinges, but not glued in place. It’s still set up for AXI OUTRUNNER power and the access hatch for the battery is has a magnetic latch to make it really easy to swap out packs. An illustrated instruction manual is included showing how to assemble the model which will take about 6-8 hours to complete.  For 5 channels: Ailerons (2 servos) Flaps (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder and Throttle.

  1. I have desire to build a Telemaster V2, .60 size airplane. When I look at the Hobby Express site, it appears to be no more. Is that true?
