Model Rectifier Corporation, U.S. distributor of Hirobo products, announced with regret the passing of Mr. Keitaro Matsusaka, chairman of the board of directors of Hirobo Ltd.:
Mr. Matsusaka’s vision and determination drove Hirobo to the pinnacle of success in both the automotive plastics and the manufacture of the worlds finest model helicopters. His insight and innovation with models such as the Shuttle, Sky Robo, Quark, Turbulence, Evo, Eagle and SDX have been heralded as some of the finest models ever produced, and Hirobo proudly holds many World Championship titles and awards.
Mr. Matsusaka will long be remembered for his leadership and ultimate successes, ensuring a solid future for Hirobo. His life will long be celebrated for what he has given to the world. From everyone at MRC, our condolences and best wishes are with his family for the present and the future.
Hirobo helicopters, starting with the Shuttle, were icons in the hobby. I had a Shuttle ZX, a ZXX, a Lama, a Hughes 300, an Eagle, two GPH346s, and a Shuttle RG. Every one was a winner.
