  8. Great stuff. But don’t forget that the British ED company, who made model diesel engines and early radio gear, crossed the channel, first with a radio control boat in 1953, then a plane, the Radio Queen, in 1954. The Radio Queen was taken off from England by a pilot on the ground then control transferred to a pilot in an Auster light aircraft. Radio contact was lost but the plane was found in a field and returned by a French farmer.

  9. I have the DVD and when I watch it, it fills me with a sense of awe, excitement and admiration. There is only one other drama that gives me these feelings. It to is some what related to model aircraft. I refer to the older film, The flight of the phoenix. Both are the story of the magic of flight and those who make it happen, James’s story has a little of something else that a made up story could never have. It may be the hint that James’s dream is contagious, in a way that did not come across even in the flight of the phoenix.

  10. Goosebumps!!! What a wonderful video – Well done James and all those involved.
