We caught up with Model Airplane News contributor and Scale Electric Helicopter devotee, Jim Ryan at the recent NEAT Fair. Jim had with him several RC Helis including his award winning AH-56 Cheyenne Attack helicopter.
Jim scratch built this amazing advanced attack design after the proposed Lockheed heli and duplicated the unique pusher prop/compound tail mechanism. Using T-Rex 450 menchanics and many custom-made parts and a scale 4-bladed rotor head, Jim’s AH-56 uses his own composite fuselage, vacuum formed canopy and retractable landing gear.
Stay tuned, video of this amazing scratch built attack heli is on the way!
