Little Fokker: World’s Smallest RC Aircraft?

Joe Malinchak’s 1.5-inch-span triplane weighs just 1 gram and has two controls, rudder and throttle. It’s powered by a 3.2mm direct-drive motor on an 8mAh LiPo. Watch it fly!

  1. Joe has inspired me a lot over the years. I first saw his work at the indoor rc show in Columbus OH years ago. He was one of the main reasons I looked forward to that show every year. You could guarantee that he would always bring something new and neat.

  2. Now there is a good reason to repurpose a cell phone vibrator motor.. Beauty..!

  3. I so love this idea..!!!

  4. FANTASTIC model and great (nostalgic) diorama with the Red Baron lunch pail and hot rod!

  5. Don’t you know you pose a serious threat to air safety with that? I’m gonna have to report you to the FAA 😉

  6. Trying to watch this thing fly is like watching a house fly in the kitchen and hoping to see it land so you can “swat” it!
