Today was the first day of the 2014 WRAM trade show and I can’t think of a better way to end a week than spending Friday getting to see all the new products and RC plane on display. Here are some shots I took today of some of the models on display, both in the vendor booths and on the display table for this years static display contest. If you see something you like, be sure to leave a comment.
Don Spinoso’s Turbine powered Skymaster Viper Jet 2.6
Damon Rosenthol’s Stinson Reliant built from the Top Flite kit. Entered in the Civilian category.
Seval Takerin’s Extra 300 from the Carden Aircraft kit. Entered in the IMAC Pattern class.
Yea. that’s me with my Balsa USA 1/3-scale Fokker Triplane. Made it to the WRAM show without breaking anything.
Roy Vaillancourt’s new 1/3-scale RAF SE5 Scout. Zenoah G-62 with prop reduction setup for power.
Carl Jacob’s 88 inch Fokker D-VII on display at the WW1 category.
Mike Gross Sr.’s Fokker Triplane from the GTM Kit.
Impressive details inside or out.
All the controls are cable driven with scale setup and the control stick in the cockpit moves everything. The radio moves the control stick to fly the plane.
WW1 Category, well populated.
Hobbico booth
Nick Ziroli Plans booth with the Z team all in attendance!
Horizon Hobby Booth
Post WW1 category. P-51 from the CARF Models kit. By Don Spinoso.
