Mountain Models announces the release of the “Little Bogie”, a mini-electric OldE Timer model that can be flown in small fields and larger indoor sites.
This electric plane brings back that nostalgic feeling of yesteryear, when actors like Humphrey Bogart were kings of the silver screen. Taking inspiration from many different free flight plane styles of the past, the result is a super lightweight, nostalgic, and relaxingly smooth and easy flying plane.
The Little Bogie was designed in a state of the art 3D CAD package, to allow for exceptional interlocking parts design and fit. 3D design also allowed us to provide crystal clear assembly drawings.
Built from self-jigging interlocked laser cut balsa and hardwood parts, it’s like a 3D jigsaw puzzle with instructions. Although not needed for construction, full size plans are included for reference. All the small electronics for the plane; motor, esc, servos, and batteries are also sold by Mountain Models so you end up with a plane that balances and flies the way it was meant to.
