Getting into giant scale RC is becoming more and more popular. I think one of the things that make the hobby so popular is the gasoline engines used to power the larger than average-size planes. Even though large 2- and 4-stroke glow engines are often used to power big planes, gasoline-burning powerplants remain the engines of choice.

I wrote the “Thinking Big” column for MAN for more than 10 years and gasoline engines and their proper and safe operation was always a constant “hot topic” with our readers. Many were intimidated…”

  1. I have been doing remote control airplanes for over 25 years. I love it when I come across a website like this that a person can log into and get plenty of information about any rc plane that they might be interested in. I have a rc model airplane that is fast and flies great. If you are a beginner you want to know how each rc plane will handle in the air. spend some time looking around and reading about model airplanes to get a fit for you and your style
