Paul LeTorneau’s B-26 Marauder

One of the most impressive warbirds at the 2011 WOD was Paul LeTornean’s B-26 Marauder. Paul enlarged Jerry Bates plans to a 170-inch span, and he powered the Marauder with a pair of Desert Aircraft DA-100 gas engines. Originally it was finished in O.D. but now Paul’s bomber sports an amazing aluminum finish!

Here’s my interview with Paul at the 2011 WOD event.

  1. Sweet! I’d like to see details on how he made his bomb bay doors operate.

  2. We have a video interview with Paul in the works. it will be posted as soon as it is edited! Sorry he did not mention his bombbay system but we’ll ask!
    stay tuned

  3. An absolute master piece. I`ll bet the sound brings goose bumps. Where doe`s the exhaust exit? Can`t wait to see video!
