Building the Pronto

Building the Pronto

This video will show you how to build the Pronto from Model Airplane News plans, start to finish. The Pronto is a fun flyer using four channels of control and is built from plans drawn up by Dave Robelen in 1972. The original Pronto was a three channel model powered by a .15 gas engine. Tim shows you how to convert this to electric flight and add ailerons.

  1. Tim, been watching your RC Videos and I have a question. Ilve recently purchased a used Spectrum NX6 transmitter. Which Spectrum receiver would you buy to match the transmitter ? I’m trying to get back in RC after 10 years. Thanks, Ron Ray. ronraysc@ gmail.com

  2. How about a gas quick-build?
