Competing for the first time at Top Gun, Gérson Luís Nissola from São Paulo, Brazil, will be flying in the Pro-Am Sportsman class with his beautiful Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6. The model was started in 2010 by Thiago Pivoto, and Gérson completed the detailing and painting last year. The all-wood built-up Luftwaffe fighter was built from a Meister Scale kit.
The impressive model has an 84-inch span and is powered by a DLE-55RA gas engine. It is equipped with a JR 12X radio system, and the model is finished in Luftwaffe pilot Arnold Döring’s night-fighter scheme.
Good looking plane! Good luck at Top Gun!
