Built from the Balsa USA kit, This WW1 dogfighter has a span of 80 inches and is 61 inches long. Power comes from a Saito 1.80 Golden Knight 4-stroke engine equipped with a McDaniel on-board glow driver system. Radio gear is a Hitec Aurora 9 transmitter with an Optima 7 receiver and Hitec HS-645 MG servos. Replicating the paint classic scheme from WW1 Ace Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker’s #12 aircraft, the Nieuport is painted with Benjamin Moore flat latex paint.
Beautiful Nieuport 28 C-1 , the Nieuport flies wonderfully and looks great not only on the ground but also in the air . I hope he has many hours of enjoyment with his plane .
