Top Gun 2015 — Top Static Scores with Video Highlights

When it comes to competition in any scale event, your earn your final score from two categories, your flight scores and your static scale score. It is here, on the judging table that modelers have the most control. Basically you put together your documentation package and then you build and paint your airplane to match the docs. It is all in your hands, the judges compare your model to the documentation you give them. Serious competitors take the suggestions from the judges and work to fix the mistakes on their model slowly working their way up to higher and higher static scores. Who were the best in their class this year for scale fidelity?

  1. Your picture of the Stinson is labeled wrong! That Stinson belongs to James Prive who placed 8th in Expert!

  2. Would love to see more of this model. I once was a partner in ownership of a real version of this aircraft, known as a UC-78/T-50 Cessna Bobcat. Would love to have a smaller model of it though like a .60 0r .90 size.
