Not sure I see the advantage of a sport plane with twins. It would seem a single motor would provide reduced complexity, reduced cost, lower power draw, shorter build time, better structural integrity, improved flight characteristics and increased safety should one engine fail in flight at an inadvertent moment. Twins seem justified for scale, but seem out of place on a sport plane.

Kind of like owning an RV, makes no economic sense, but they too are fun. I fly sport twins, as well as singles, and have been flying since 1970. Love the looks, performance and challenge of a twin. Give it a try. You might have some fun.
I agree with constructing this aircraft for no other reason than it’s “fun to build and fly”!
