  1. Well done. Just one more thing should be added regarding the installation of the tank; that is the height of the center of the tank should be level with the needle valve. That is more critical with some engines than others, but is a good policy to follow with all. That is more difficult with some models, but the modification required will result in higher reliability.

  2. Looked to me like he did the tank upside down with stopper on lower half of tank, not on the upper half of tank.

  3. I would like to see this video but it seems to NOT be available……….Bill

  4. only two lines comeing out of cap fuel and vent fuel , no tank fill line?

  5. Hi Gerry, an excellent video…well spoken and concise….just the right speed to comprehend…
One point I want to ask please,…I am about to install a 550cc tank into a large preloved Spitfire, and the bung (outlet) is off centre on the tank….should the bung be above or below the tank centre line for correct fitment, or, could the tank be rotated thru 90 degrees to have the bung on centre….
One question about your installation, did you intend to fill the tank thru the fuel line or should there be a Tee installed before the filter?
    best regards,
    John H
