Weekender Warbird Mustang from Hitec — Review Sneak Peek

Weekender Warbird Mustang from Hitec — Review Sneak Peek

We just got the new P-51  from Hitec in the office for review. This sweet looking Mustang is part of the Weekender Warbird series and it takes only minutes to assemble. We got the package the other day from our buddies at Hitec RCD and here are some pix of the Mustang as it is in the MAN office.

For the upcoming MAN review we will outfit it with the Hitec Minima 6T receiver and for control we’ll bind the receiver the Aurora 9X 2.4GHz transmitter.

The Mustang comes with all the servos installed and all you have to do is connect the control linkages at the tail. The landing gear is fixed with nice looking scale detailing and doors. The tail wheel is in a scale location and it is steerable. For power we are using an E-flite 2S 7.4v 1300 mAh Lipo pack. The ESC comes already installed and ready to plug into your receiver.

Stay tuned for more sneak peeks photos as well as some flight shots! After the holiday weekend that is! The photos will be much better too! I took these with my Cell phone! :^)

So, if you want a quick-to-assemble, easy to fly warbird, the Weekender Warbird Series from Hitec it the place to look. They also have an F4U Corsair and a Hawker Hurricane in the Weekender Warbird collection.
