Check out this masterfully built giant-scale Douglas SBD Dauntless. Miroslav Rozic of the Czech Republic faithfully recreated the World War II American naval scout plane and dive bomber that was manufactured by Douglas Aircraft from 1940 through 1944. The nearly 10-foot-span model is powered by a Fiala VM 250 4-stroke radial. It’s one of the best giant warbirds we’ve seen!

This is an amazing model, it brings to mind another Dauntless model. In about 1970 Dave Platt stunned the RC world with his Dauntless and started the trend of superdetailed weathered models.
Outstanding. !
Just FYI.
That is the Army version of the Dauntless, called an A-24 Banshee.
Looks like the still picture is Olive Green which is the army version, but the video is of a Dauntless, my mistake.
Sorry guys.
Beautiful done with weathering. Only one thing is he needs a gunner
It’s very well detailed, but I’m left to wonder why something as basic as the main landing gear legs were left with no covers. You can only see the bare legs on the U tube presentation.
